What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Domino Systems Engineer who will support Lotus Notes / Domino systems by performing server administration and operations. As a Domino Systems Engineer, you will also maintain an enterprise-wide Domino Server infrastructure consisting of over 500 Domino Servers.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Continuously enhancing the quality of service provided in support of the Domino infrastructure
Conducting multidisciplinary research and collaborating with software vendors (IBM) in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
Working closely with the engineering staff lead to implement best Domino engineering practices
Performing continuous engineering assessments for all operational issues
Applying superior Domino knowledge on best practices for Domino Server consolidation
Applying engineering techniques to appropriately troubleshoot for error resolution in mail routing, tracing, tracking, and Lotus Notes client interface
Performing Domino technical evaluations, analysis, and troubleshooting for all supported servers in response to help desk tickets, which includes, but are not limited to, the following activities:
Full system outages
Acting as liaison with the Operations team and providing engineering support to process issues that may arise
Performing operating system software updates and upgrades
Responding to ESMT requests from service providers
Coordinating Domino Server installation and upgrades for Microsoft Windows Server 2016
Building servers and providing technical configuration, setup, installation services, hardware, and coordination for application projects
Assisting with Domino Server maintenance and special projects during extended work hours
Communicating outage and degradation of Domino Servers to management
Understanding and implementing established technical and workflow procedures
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Extensive Domino experience to perform technical planning and execution of daily tasks, including server consolidation to reduce the server footprint
Broad systems experience and understanding of supporting elements of the architecture, including the operating system and relevant networks
Domino expertise to upgrade in the current infrastructure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education & Experience Required:
10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
8 Years of job related experience and Associates degree
4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 Server
Experience with performance testing and tuning
Ability to understand Formula Language
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
