Job Description

CACI is offering an exciting opportunity for academically accomplished, management and technically oriented individuals. You will be part of a team supporting CACI Network Modernization and Telecommunications projects in High Point, NC. As a team member, you will be working with the Program Management Office (PMO), Engineers, Order Management, and Finance teams.


Primary Purpose:  

Project Management support for the overall success of planning and implementing complex projects that meet or exceed customer needs.  Support supervision of the work of a project team, vendors, and/or subcontractors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft applications and other Project Manager software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Support and manage preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports on all projects of responsibility.
    Support planning, coordination, and support customer meetings.  Support development of presentation materials for customer meetings as required
  • Support and insure on-time delivery of all contract deliverables
  • Support all established SharePoint and tools are utilized in the implementation of all projects.
  • Support the creation and/or review SOWs and POs for the procurement of products and services required for each project
  • Customer interface to report project progress and address any issues or concerns
  • Interface with, collaborate and support management of project team members including internal staff, vendors subcontractors, and customers.
  • Travel to other CACI (LGS) Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
  • Understand and adhere to all CACI (LGS) Ethical and Compliance policies
  • Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI (LGS) EH&S policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Consistent and reliable attendance required

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • An Associate or Undergraduate degree.

You’ll Bring These Qualification

  • You must minimally be a graduating High School and Associate degree with demonstrated academic achievement and technical aptitude. 
  • You should also understand what’s commonly referred to as the “project life cycle,” which consists of five phases (or processes): Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, Closing
  • If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Microsoft applications and other Project Manager software such as PowerPoint and MS Project scheduling software.
  • Experience in fielding and managing Inside/Outside Plant, Data networks.
  • Develop and utilize project plans and schedules to manage and report against customer requirement.  These plans may address items such as Requirements analysis and tracking, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Project Staffing, etc.
  • Previous work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain certification within first year of employment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is typically performed in an office environment which requires proper safety precautions.  Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
