What You’ll Get to Do:
Extracting knowledge and insights from extremely large volumes of structured and unstructured data is critical to cyber operations and intelligence. Data Scientists (DS) have emerged as an indispensable role within the IC to convert data to information and information to knowledge for operational use. The JIOC desires new capabilities and techniques possible within the data science realm to augment an analyst’s ability to gain situational awareness and convey tactical and strategic opportunities to operational commanders.
Join CACI to support USCYBERCOM (USCC) J2 and apply your data science skills to the cyber realm and intelligence community!
More About the Role:
OPERATIONALIZE DATA SCIENCE by acting as an “capabilities translator” with the necessary attributes to seamlessly move between leadership, end users, and resource providers and the data science community to effectively identify the challenge, translate it into a data science requirement, and ensure that the results are operationally relevant and actionable. Translate commercial “big data” best practices into ISC analytical processes systems and tools (AI, ML, DL).
ELEVATE THE WORKFORCE by ensuring core data science concepts are propagated to the entire workforce to enhance their understanding of capabilities and increase opportunities for the application of data science techniques and processes.
SHAPE THE FIELD AND POSITION USCC as thought leaders and advanced practitioners within the data science realm, reinforce and elevate the USCC influence across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise and the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center through direct and active engagement regarding data science initiatives. Drive partnerships with industry and academia to leverage emerging technologies including AI, ML and Deep Learning
