What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Junior Acquisition Analyst, supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC.  You will provide Acquisition support for ACAT and non-ACAT programs of record, developing acquisition related documentation.

More About the Role:

  • Provide project task management support and other miscellaneous administrative support.

  • Assist with all aspects of Navy pre– and post–award contracting procedures and policies.

  • Assist with the development, review, tracking, and facilitation of acquisition documentation and plans, including Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Procurement/Purchase Requests (PR), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Source Selection Plans (SSP), Justification and Approvals (J&A), Determination and Finding (D&F), Task Planning Sheets (TPS), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL).

  • Maintain and update project documents and track program priorities / active tasks.

  • Support Program Managers with answering data calls by coordinating with stakeholders.  This includes managing communication and preparing/reviewing documents for accuracy.

  • Support the scheduling of Unclassified and Classified meetings.

  • Participate in meetings, take minutes, and track/follow up on action items.

  • Prepare briefs for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain the Navigation PM’s calendar, including appointments, travel plans, meetings, and conferences.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Typically has B.A/B.S degree and minimum of 1+ years of experience with acquisition and program management support in a DoD program office
  • Current Secret Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • MA or MS degree

  • Experience with contracts and acquisition management for ACAT and non-ACAT programs

  • Agile Scrum experience  

  • Completion of acquisition training, education, or certifications, including Defense Acquisition University, DAWIA Certification, or membership in the Acquisition Corps.

  • DAWIA Level I Certification in Program Management.
