Job Description

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Performs monitoring and technical support for identified enterprise systems.

  • Adheres to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment.

  • Responsible for utilizing customer provided software and systems to monitor the ecosystem.

  • Follow established processes and troubleshooting based on customer defined criteria:

  • Monitor system and server logs for errors, failures, suboptimal performance capacity, etc.

  • Prioritize escalations to appropriate service providers.

  • Coordinate with any required resources across the enterprise to resolve operational issues

  • Performs analysis on existing systems, processes, and procedures to identify improvements. 

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations to improve processes in accordance with best practices. 

  • Interacts and communicates with end-users, management, and IT personnel. 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly required

  • AA Degree in a related technical discipline and relevant experience supporting enterprise operations or 3+ years related experience in lieu of education requirement.

  • Must have a current DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification, Security+ Certification

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • Excellent communication skills ensuring effective and accurate exchange of information across a multi-location enterprise, with customer visibility into crew-based actions and response

  • Must be able to work a non-standard work week, weekends, and holidays; 12-hour shift work expected in support of 24x7 operations.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • System administration experience to include UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms

  • Experience with virtualization technologies and software such as VMware

  • Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Management Systems to include HP OpenView, and CA based Concord
