Job Description

CACI is seeking a Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A)Data Analyst to support large-scale naval ship acquisition programs in Washington, D.C. The RMA-Data Analyst will support PMS 501 - 505 and related DoD programs in monitoring the reliability, maintainability, and availability of in-service and developmental assets. Accessing, analyzing, and developing metrics from a relational database in support of Reliability Engineering efforts. Coordinate with R&M team to develop reports, metrics, and data sets in support of Program Office initiatives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Maintain and develop relational databases to track and analyze failure data for trends

  • Support the R&M Program Modeling & Analysis team on analysis of recent failure events and previous failure data to identify potential high priority reliability issues

  • Work with the team to analyze data and provide failure trending at the system/subsystem/component level

  • Assist with development of top-level,summary decision-quality information and materials for presentation

  • Develop inputs to reports including growth curves, tables, risk charts, and other relevant KPIs

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • U. S. Navy surface ship operational and maintenance experience

  • Experience developing and using relational databases for data analysis

  • Experience in developing data management and analysis tools in SQL and R

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, reliability, statistics, data analytics, or related field preferred

  • Experience working with statistical analysis and engineering reviews.

  • 2+ Years of Naval Shipboard Operational, Repair, and Maintenance experience

  • Experience with reliability analysis tools (RAPTOR, OPUS, Reliasoft, TIGER, Windchill etc..)

  • Experience with Naval Sea Systems Command, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and In-service Engineering Support Agents

  • Presentation skills to provide management, customers and vendors recommendations/suggestions of product change and/or issues

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
