CACI is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer / Project Manager to lead the IT Availability efforts for the ODNI CIO.

What You'll Get to Do: 

  • Monitor various health and status (H&S) application performance monitoring solutions that use machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide real-time visibility and insight into IT environments 

  • Work with DNI Component Leads to bring new and existing applications onto one of the DNI dashboards

  • Proactively reach out to Department Leads and IT System Owners to explain H&S monitoring solutions and schedule demos of H&S monitoring platforms 

  • Use multiple data sources to design customized Dashboards for Department Leads, government customers, and the 24/7 Monitoring Service Desk; work with development team to implement design changes 

  • Act as a liaison between the customer, CIO Office, and development team to deploy H&S monitoring services for all customer IT Systems 

  • Monitor customer H&S dashboards and IT issue discussion boards throughout the normal workday, keeping the CIO and Branch Head abreast of IT issues affecting end users; coordinate with appropriate teams to provide interim solutions to ensure their mission is not affected 

  • Perform horizontal system integration planning and interface with other functional areas, ensuring technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner 

  • Keep open communication with ISG’s 24/7 monitoring team to stay apprised of known and unknown outages

  • Perform as project lead on additional IT-related projects as assigned by the customer 

  • Coordinate with multiple departments within and outside of the customer’s organization to accomplish project tasks 

  • Act as a Team Lead for a small group of contractors on the same program

You Will Bring These Qualifications: 

  • TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in an IT related field 6 years of related experience; or a Masters with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience 

  • Experience with H&S / application monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and SolarWinds 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners 

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment 

  • Fully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 

  • Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required 

  • Ability to create original documentation 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 

  • ITIL Foundations certification 

  • Scrum Master certification
